Benjamin Jasmer works with the often at-odds relationships among utilitatian natures of waste, entropy, and design. He studied Art & Design at Bethel University (St. Paul, MN) as well as Biblical Studies at Covenant Bible College (La Merced, Ecuador). His artwork has been displayed in Bethel University's Library collection and has participated on design projects with other nonprofit organizations such as Mercy Ships, Urban Ventures, and One Challenge International.  In 2014 Ben worked under Kenneth Steinbach assisting in project research for a Lilly Foundation Arlin G Meyer awarded work. He lives with his wife and four kids in Fridley, MN.

Benjamin Jasmer is a fiscal year 2016 recipient of an Artist Initiative grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
